The Does That Make Sense? writers' room is a creative and collaborative space where diverse voices come together to craft a fresh, humor-driven series.
Led by creator and showrunner Derett Boyd Jr., this room is designed to be an open environment where writers of all backgrounds and experience levels can contribute their unique perspectives.
With seven positions available, we’re looking for individuals who are passionate about storytelling and eager to develop compelling, character-driven comedy. Writers will have the opportunity to workshop ideas, refine scripts, and shape the direction of the series in a supportive setting. Whether this is your first time in a writers' room or you’re a seasoned screenwriter, this is a chance to grow, collaborate, and bring something special to the screen.

PRE-PRODUCTION
As you look to enter the production and post-production phase of your project, we will offer our connections and network, which includes up-and-coming and established television professionals to get your show in the right hands, and achieve the dreams you have for it.
LEADS
We will write your script or assist with the writing process at large. The project lives within the heart of the writer. We’ll aim to help you plan your story, characters, beats, and more as you put fingers to keys (or pen to paper) creating an authentic story all while keeping your voice in mind.
